About Us
PHOOLEEN Mahila Chetna Vikas Kendra is a non-governmental, non-political, secular organisation, evolved from grassroots (people’s organisation) movement in early 80’s and its got formally registered in the year 1992. PHOOLEEN working as facilitating actor for the development of underprivileged communities of Jharkhand in Eastern India. Phooleen has been working since last 3 decades and now transformed itself from being a welfare to developmental organisation where its contribution in motivating, moulding, supporting , capacity building , partnership development with other grassroots NGOs and standing out in being innovative, credible and systematic approach in Communal Harmony and social development with special emphasis on livelihood promotion.

Under the support of Ministry of minority affairs, Govt. of India the organisation Successfully conducted 12 batches of Leadership Training programme for the minority women in two Minority concentration Blocks Namely Madhupur and Karon of Deoghar District. All together 300 women belong to minority communities gained life skill, Leadership skills, Orientation on Local self governance, knowledge on Legal safeguards related to women, Accessibility on Govt. Schemes and services, Safe Health & Hygiene practices etc. PHOOLEEN has submitted the progress report to the Ministry Minority Affairs. PHOOLEEN qualified for the implementation of the second phase of the Training for the year-2013-14. .
